[58:7] | Alam tara anna Allaha yaAAlamu mafee alssamawati wama fee al-ardima yakoonu min najwa thalathatin illahuwa rabiAAuhum wala khamsatin illa huwa sadisuhumwala adna min thalika wala aktharailla huwa maAAahum ayna ma kanoo thummayunabbi-ohum bima AAamiloo yawma alqiyamati innaAllaha bikulli shay-in AAaleemun
|  ألم تر أن الله يعلم ما في السماوات وما في الأرض ما يكون من نجوى ثلاثة إلا هو رابعهم ولا خمسة إلا هو سادسهم ولا أدنى من ذلك ولا أكثر إلا هو معهم أين ما كانوا ثم ينبئهم بما عملوا يوم القيامة إن الله بكل شيء عليم
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا يَكُونُ مِن نَّجْوَى ثَلَاثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ وَلَا أَدْنَى مِن ذَلِكَ وَلَا أَكْثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كَانُوا ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | Seest thou not that Allah doth know (all) that is in the heavens and on earth? There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, - Nor between five but He makes the sixth,- nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: In the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For Allah has full knowledge of all things.

| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے انسان!) کیا تجھے معلوم نہیں کہ اللہ اُن سب چیزوں کو جانتا ہے جو آسمانوں میں ہیں اور جو زمین میں ہیں، کہیں بھی تین (آدمیوں) کی کوئی سرگوشی نہیں ہوتی مگر یہ کہ وہ (اللہ اپنے محیط علم و آگہی کے ساتھ) اُن کا چوتھا ہوتا ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی پانچ (آدمیوں) کی سرگوشی ہوتی ہے مگر وہ (اپنے علمِ محیط کے ساتھ) اُن کا چھٹا ہوتا ہے، اور نہ اس سے کم (لوگوں) کی اور نہ زیادہ کی مگر وہ (ہمیشہ) اُن کے ساتھ ہوتا ہے جہاں کہیں بھی وہ ہوتے ہیں، پھر وہ قیامت کے دن انہیں اُن کاموں سے خبردار کر دے گا جو وہ کرتے رہے تھے، بیشک اللہ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہے، |

[59:3] | Walawla an kataba AllahuAAalayhimu aljalaa laAAaththabahum fee alddunyawalahum fee al-akhirati AAathabu alnnari
| ولولا أن كتب الله عليهم الجلاء لعذبهم في الدنيا ولهم في الآخرة عذاب النار
وَلَوْلَا أَن كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجَلَاءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابُ النَّارِ |

| Yusuf Ali | And had it not been that Allah had decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: And in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire.

| ولقد زينا السماء الدنيا بمصابيح وجعلناها رجوما للشياطين وأعتدنا لهم عذاب السعير
وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ |

| Yusuf Ali | And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.

| إن ربك يعلم أنك تقوم أدنى من ثلثي الليل ونصفه وثلثه وطائفة من الذين معك والله يقدر الليل والنهار علم أن لن تحصوه فتاب عليكم فاقرءوا ما تيسر من القرآن علم أن سيكون منكم مرضى وآخرون يضربون في الأرض يبتغون من فضل الله وآخرون يقاتلون في سبيل الله فاقرءوا ما تيسر منه وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة وأقرضوا الله قرضا حسنا وما تقدموا لأنفسكم من خير تجدوه عند الله هو خيرا وأعظم أجرا واستغفروا الله إن الله غفور رحيم
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِن ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| Yusuf Ali | Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک آپ کا رب جانتا ہے کہ آپ (کبھی) دو تہائی شب کے قریب اور (کبھی) نصف شب اور (کبھی) ایک تہائی شب (نماز میں) قیام کرتے ہیں، اور اُن لوگوں کی ایک جماعت (بھی) جو آپ کے ساتھ ہیں (قیام میں شریک ہوتی ہے)، اور اﷲ ہی رات اور دن (کے گھٹنے اور بڑھنے) کا صحیح اندازہ رکھتا ہے، وہ جانتا ہے کہ تم ہرگز اُس کے اِحاطہ کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے، سو اُس نے تم پر (مشقت میں تخفیف کر کے) معافی دے دی، پس جتنا آسانی سے ہو سکے قرآن پڑھ لیا کرو، وہ جانتا ہے کہ تم میں سے (بعض لوگ) بیمار ہوں گے اور (بعض) دوسرے لوگ زمین میں سفر کریں گے تاکہ اﷲ کا فضل تلاش کریں اور (بعض) دیگر اﷲ کی راہ میں جنگ کریں گے، سو جتنا آسانی سے ہو سکے اُتنا (ہی) پڑھ لیا کرو، اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰۃ دیتے رہو اور اﷲ کو قرضِ حسن دیا کرو، اور جو بھلائی تم اپنے لئے آگے بھیجو گے اُسے اﷲ کے حضور بہتر اور اَجر میں بزرگ تر پا لوگے، اور اﷲ سے بخشش طلب کرتے رہو، اﷲ بہت بخشنے والا بے حد رحم فرمانے والا ہے، |

[76:14] | Wadaniyatan AAalayhim thilaluhawathullilat qutoofuha tathleelan
| ودانية عليهم ظلالها وذللت قطوفها تذليلا
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَالُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا |

| Yusuf Ali | And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility.
