[33:31] | vemey yaḳnüt minkünne lillâhi verasûlihî veta`mel ṣâliḥan nü'tihâ ecrahâ merrateyni vea`tednâ lehâ rizḳan kerîmâ. |  ومن يقنت منكن لله ورسوله وتعمل صالحا نؤتها أجرها مرتين وأعتدنا لها رزقا كريما
وَمَن يَقْنُتْ مِنكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا نُّؤْتِهَا أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقًا كَرِيْمًا |

| Elmalılı | Yine sizden her kim Allah'a ve Resulü'ne boyun eğer, salih bir amel işlerse, ona da mükâfatını iki kat veririz. Hem onun için bol bir rızık hazırlamışızdır. |
| Y. Ali | But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness,- to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous Sustenance.

[33:32] | yâ nisâe-nnebiyyi lestünne keeḥadim mine-nnisâi ini-tteḳaytünne felâ taḫḍa`ne bilḳavli feyaṭme`a-lleẕî fî ḳalbihî meraḍuv veḳulne ḳavlem ma`rûfâ. | يا نساء النبي لستن كأحد من النساء إن اتقيتن فلا تخضعن بالقول فيطمع الذي في قلبه مرض وقلن قولا معروفا
يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِّنَ النِّسَاءِ إِنِ اتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا |

| Elmalılı | Ey peygamberin hanımları! Siz kadınlardan herhangi biri gibi değilsiniz. Eğer takva ile korunacaksanız, konuşurken kırıtmayın da kalbinde bir hastalık bulunan kimse tamaha düşmesin. Güzel ve dosdoğru söz söyleyin. |
| Y. Ali | O Consorts of the Prophet! Ye are not like any of the (other) women: if ye do fear (Allah), be not too complacent of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech (that is) just.

[33:33] | veḳarne fî büyûtikünne velâ teberracne teberruce-lcâhiliyyeti-l'ûlâ veeḳimne-ṣṣalâte veâtîne-zzekâte veeṭi`ne-llâhe verasûleh. innemâ yürîdü-llâhü liyüẕhibe `ankümü-rricse ehle-lbeyti veyüṭahhiraküm taṭhîrâ. | وقرن في بيوتكن ولا تبرجن تبرج الجاهلية الأولى وأقمن الصلاة وآتين الزكاة وأطعن الله ورسوله إنما يريد الله ليذهب عنكم الرجس أهل البيت ويطهركم تطهيرا
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَى وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا |

| Elmalılı | Hem vakarınızla evlerinizde durun da önceki cahiliyet devrinde olduğu gibi süslenip çıkmayın. Namazı kılın, zekatı verin. Allah ve Resulü'ne itaat edin. Ey ehli beyt! Allah sizden kiri gidermek ve sizi tertemiz, pampak yapmak istiyor. |
| Y. Ali | And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless.

[33:34] | veẕkürne mâ yütlâ fî büyûtikünne min âyâti-llâhi velḥikmeh. inne-llâhe kâne leṭîfen ḫabîrâ. | واذكرن ما يتلى في بيوتكن من آيات الله والحكمة إن الله كان لطيفا خبيرا
وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَى فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًا |

| Elmalılı | Oturun da evlerinizde okunan Allah'ın âyetlerini ve hikmeti anın. Şüphe yok ki Allah lütuf sahibidir ve her şeyden haberdardır. |
| Y. Ali | And recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes, of the Signs of Allah and His Wisdom: for Allah understands the finest mysteries and is well-acquainted (with them).

[33:35] | inne-lmüslimîne velmüslimâti velmü'minîne velmü'minâti velḳânitîne velḳânitâti veṣṣâdiḳîne veṣṣâdiḳâti veṣṣâbirîne veṣṣâbirâti velḫâşi`îne velḫâşi`âti velmüteṣaddiḳîne velmüteṣaddiḳâti veṣṣâimîne veṣṣâimâti velḥâfiżîne fürûcehüm velḥâfiżâti veẕẕâkirîne-llâhe keŝîrav veẕẕâkirâti e`adde-llâhü lehüm magfiratev veecran `ażîmâ. | إن المسلمين والمسلمات والمؤمنين والمؤمنات والقانتين والقانتات والصادقين والصادقات والصابرين والصابرات والخاشعين والخاشعات والمتصدقين والمتصدقات والصائمين والصائمات والحافظين فروجهم والحافظات والذاكرين الله كثيرا والذاكرات أعد الله لهم مغفرة وأجرا عظيما
إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْقَانِتَاتِ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّابِرَاتِ وَالْخَاشِعِينَ وَالْخَاشِعَاتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَاتِ وَالصَّائِمِينَ وَالصَّائِمَاتِ وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَافِظَاتِ وَالذَّاكِرِينَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَالذَّاكِرَاتِ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Şüphe yok ki müslüman erkeklerle müslüman kadınlar, mümin erkeklerle mümin kadınlar, itaat eden erkeklerle itaat eden kadınlar, sadık erkeklerle sadık kadınlar, sabreden erkeklerle sabreden kadınlar, mütevazi erkeklerle mütevazi kadınlar, sadaka veren erkeklerle sadaka veren kadınlar, oruç tutan erkeklerle oruç tutan kadınlar, ırzlarını koruyan erkeklerle ırzlarını koruyan kadınlar, Allah'ı çok zikreden erkeklerle Allah'ı çok zikreden kadınlar var ya, işte onlar için Allah bir mağfiret ve büyük bir mükâfat hazırlamıştır. |

Ali | For Muslim men and women,- for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in Charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise,- for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.

[33:36] | vemâ kâne limü'miniv velâ mü'minetin iẕâ ḳaḍa-llâhü verasûlühû emran ey yekûne lehümü-lḫiyeratü min emrihim. vemey ya`ṣi-llâhe verasûlehû feḳad ḍalle ḍalâlem mübînâ. | وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضى الله ورسوله أمرا أن يكون لهم الخيرة من أمرهم ومن يعص الله ورسوله فقد ضل ضلالا مبينا
وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا |

| Elmalılı | Bununla beraber Allah ve Resulü bir işe hükmettiği zaman, gerek mümin bir erkek ve gerekse mümin bir kadın için, o işlerinde başka bir tercih hakkı yoktur. Her kim de Allah ve Resulüne âşi olursa açık bir sapıklık etmiş olur. |
| Y. Ali | It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.

[33:37] | veiẕ teḳûlü lilleẕî en`ame-llâhü `aleyhi veen`amte `aleyhi emsik `aleyke zevceke vetteḳi-llâhe vetuḫfî fî nefsike me-llâhü mübdîhi vetaḫşe-nnâs. vellâhü eḥaḳḳu en taḫşâh. felemmâ ḳaḍâ zeydüm minhâ veṭaran zevvecnâkehâ likey lâ yekûne `ale-lmü'minîne ḥaracün fî ezvâci ed`iyâihim iẕâ ḳaḍav minhünne veṭarâ. vekâne emru-llâhi mef`ûlâ. | وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشاه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجناكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزواج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا
وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا |

| Elmalılı | Hem hatırla o vakti ki, o kendisine Allah'ın nimet verdiği ve senin de ikramda bulunduğun kimseye: "Hanımını kendine sıkı tut ve Allah'tan kork" diyordun da nefsinde Allah'ın açacağı şeyi gizliyordun. İnsanlardan çekiniyordun. Halbuki Allah kendisini saymana daha lâyıktı. Sonra Zeyd o kadından ilişiğini kestiği zaman, biz onu sana eş yaptık ki, oğulluklarının ilişkilerini kestikleri hanımlarını nikâhlamada müminlere bir darlık olmasın. Allah'ın emri de yerine getirilmiştir. |
| Y. Ali | Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.

[33:38] | mâ kâne `ale-nnebiyyi min ḥaracin fîmâ feraḍa-llâhü leh. sünnete-llâhi fi-lleẕîne ḫalev min ḳabl. vekâne emru-llâhi ḳaderam maḳdûrâ. | ما كان على النبي من حرج فيما فرض الله له سنة الله في الذين خلوا من قبل وكان أمر الله قدرا مقدورا
مَّا كَانَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُورًا |

| Elmalılı | Peygambere Allah'ın takdir ettiği, mübah kıldığı şeyde bir darlık yoktur. Bundan önce geçen bütün peygamberler hakkında Allah'ın sünneti böyledir. Allah'ın emri ise biçilmiş bir kaderdir. |
| Y. Ali | There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a duty. It was the practice (approved) of Allah amongst those of old that have passed away. And the command of Allah is a decree determined.

[33:39] | elleẕîne yübelligûne risâlâti-llâhi veyaḫşevnehû velâ yaḫşevne eḥaden ille-llâh. vekefâ billâhi ḥasîbâ. | الذين يبلغون رسالات الله ويخشونه ولا يخشون أحدا إلا الله وكفى بالله حسيبا
الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا |

| Elmalılı | Onlar, Allah'ın gönderdiklerini tebliğ ederler ve O'ndan korkarlar, Allah'tan başka kimseden korkmazlardı. Hesap görücü olarak da Allah yeter. |
| Y. Ali | (It is the practice of those) who preach the Messages of Allah, and fear Him, and fear none but Allah. And enough is Allah to call (men) to account.

[33:40] | mâ kâne müḥammedün ebâ eḥadim mir ricâliküm velâkir rasûle-llâhi veḫâteme-nnebiyyîn. vekâne-llâhü bikülli şey'in `alîmâ. | ما كان محمد أبا أحد من رجالكم ولكن رسول الله وخاتم النبيين وكان الله بكل شيء عليما
مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Muhammed, sizin adamlarınızdan hiçbirinin babası değildir. Ama Allah'ın Resulü ve peygamberlerin sonuncusudur. Allah her şeyi hakkiyle bilendir. |
| Y. Ali | Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا |

| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often;

[33:42] | vesebbiḥûhü bükratev veeṣîlâ. | وسبحوه بكرة وأصيلا
وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا |

| Y. Ali | And glorify Him morning and evening.

[33:43] | hüve-lleẕî yüṣallî `aleyküm vemelâiketühû liyuḫriceküm mine-żżulümâti ile-nnûr. vekâne bilmü'minîne raḥîmâ. | هو الذي يصلي عليكم وملائكته ليخرجكم من الظلمات إلى النور وكان بالمؤمنين رحيما
هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Sizleri karanlıklardan aydınlığa çıkarmak için melekleri ile birlikte üzerinize rahmet ve bereket indiren O'dur ve O, müminlere çok merhametlidir. |
| Y. Ali | He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.

[33:44] | teḥiyyetühüm yevme yelḳavnehû selâm. vee`adde lehüm ecran kerîmâ. | تحيتهم يوم يلقونه سلام وأعد لهم أجرا كريما
تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَامٌ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَرِيْمًا |

| Elmalılı | O'na kavuşacakları gün müminlere esenlik dileği selâmdır. (Allah) onlar için cömertçe bir mükafat hazırlamıştır. |
| Y. Ali | Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.
|

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا |

| Y. Ali | O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner,-

وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا |

| Elmalılı | Ve hem de izniyle Allah'a bir davetçi ve nurlar saçan bir kandil (olarak gönderdik). |
| Y. Ali | And as one who invites to Allah's (grace) by His leave, and as a lamp spreading light.

وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَضْلًا كَبِيرًا |

| Elmalılı | Müminlere müjdele! Onlara Allah'tan bir mükafat vardır... |
| Y. Ali | Then give the Glad Tidings to the Believers, that they shall have from Allah a very great Bounty.

وَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَدَعْ أَذَاهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا |

| Elmalılı | Kâfirlere ve münafıklara itaat etme, onların ezalarını bırak (aldırma) da Allah'a tevekkül et. Allah vekil olarak hepsine yeter. |
| Y. Ali | And obey not (the behests) of the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and heed not their annoyances, but put thy Trust in Allah. For enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

[33:49] | yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû iẕâ nekaḥtümü-lmü'minâti ŝümme ṭallaḳtümûhünne min ḳabli en temessûhünne femâ leküm `aleyhinne min `iddetin ta`teddûnehâ. femetti`ûhünne veserriḥûhünne serâḥan cemîlâ. | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا نكحتم المؤمنات ثم طلقتموهن من قبل أن تمسوهن فما لكم عليهن من عدة تعتدونها فمتعوهن وسرحوهن سراحا جميلا
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نَكَحْتُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٍ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا |

| Elmalılı | Ey iman edenler! Mümin kadınları nikâh edip de sonra onlara dokunmadan boşadığınız zaman, sizin için üzerlerinde sayacağınız bir iddet hakkınız yoktur. Derhal müt'alarını (mehirleri belirlenmediği takdirde yararlanacakları bir mal) verip onları güzel bir şekilde salıverin. |
| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! When ye marry believing women, and then divorce them before ye have touched them, no period of 'Iddat have ye to count in respect of them: so give them a present. And set them free in a handsome manner.

[33:50] | yâ eyyühe-nnebiyyü innâ aḥlelnâ leke ezvâceke-llâtî âteyte ücûrahünne vemâ meleket yemînüke mimmâ efâe-llâhü `aleyke vebenâti `ammike vebenâti `ammetike vebenâti ḫâlike vebenâti ḫâletike-llâtî hâcerne me`ak. vemraetem mü'mineten iv vehebet nefsehâ linnebiyyi in erâde-nnebiyyü ey yestenkiḥahâ. ḫâliṣatel leke min dûni-lmü'minîn. ḳad `alimnâ mâ feraḍnâ `aleyhim fî ezvâcihim vemâ meleket eymânühüm likeylâ yekûne `aleyke ḥarac. vekâne-llâhü gafûrar raḥîmâ. | يا أيها النبي إنا أحللنا لك أزواجك اللاتي آتيت أجورهن وما ملكت يمينك مما أفاء الله عليك وبنات عمك وبنات عماتك وبنات خالك وبنات خالاتك اللاتي هاجرن معك وامرأة مؤمنة إن وهبت نفسها للنبي إن أراد النبي أن يستنكحها خالصة لك من دون المؤمنين قد علمنا ما فرضنا عليهم في أزواجهم وما ملكت أيمانهم لكيلا يكون عليك حرج وكان الله غفورا رحيما
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَحْلَلْنَا لَكَ أَزْوَاجَكَ اللَّاتِي آتَيْتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمَّاتِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالَاتِكَ اللَّاتِي هَاجَرْنَ مَعَكَ وَامْرَأَةً مُّؤْمِنَةً إِن وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ أَن يَسْتَنكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَّكَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا فَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِي أَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ لِكَيْلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيْكَ حَرَجٌ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا |

Biz bilhassa sana şunları helâl kıldık: Mehirlerini vermiş olduğun eşlerini, Allah'ın sana ganimet olarak ihsan buyurduklarından sahip olduğun cariyeleri, amcalarının kızlarından, halalarının kızlarından, dayılarının kızlarından, teyzelerinin kızlarından seninle beraber hicret etmiş olanları, bir de mümin bir kadın kendini peygambere hibe ederse, peygamber nikâh etmek istediği takdirde, onu başka müminlere değil de sadece sana mahsus olmak üzere helâl kıldık. Onlara eşleri ve cariyeleri hakkında neyi farz kıldığımızı biliyoruz. Bunlar sana hiçbir darlık olmaması içindir. Allah, çok bağışlayıcıdır, çok merhamet edicidir. |
| Y. Ali | O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[33:51] | türcî men teşâü minhünne vetü'vî ileyke men teşâ'. vemeni-btegayte mimmen `azelte felâ cünâḥa `aleyk. ẕâlike ednâ en teḳarra a`yünühünne velâ yaḥzenne veyerḍayne bimâ âteytehünne küllühünn. vellâhü ya`lemü mâ fî ḳulûbiküm. vekâne-llâhü `alîmen ḥalîmâ. | ترجي من تشاء منهن وتؤوي إليك من تشاء ومن ابتغيت ممن عزلت فلا جناح عليك ذلك أدنى أن تقر أعينهن ولا يحزن ويرضين بما آتيتهن كلهن والله يعلم ما في قلوبكم وكان الله عليما حليما
تُرْجِي مَن تَشَاءُُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا آتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Onlardan dilediğini geri bırakır, dilediğini yanına alırsın. Sırasını geri bıraktığın kadınlardan dilediğini yanına almanda da sana bir günah yoktur. Onların gözleri aydın olup üzülmemelerine ve kendilerine verdiğin ile hepsinin hoşnut olmalarına en elverişli olan budur. Allah kalblerinizdekini bilir. Allah her şeyi bilir ve yumuşak davranır. |
| Y. Ali | Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction - that of all of them - with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

[33:52] | lâ yeḥillü leke-nnisâü mim ba`dü velâ en tebeddele bihinne min ezvâciv velev a`cebeke ḥusnühünne illâ mâ meleket yemînük. vekâne-llâhü `alâ külli şey'ir raḳîbâ. | لا يحل لك النساء من بعد ولا أن تبدل بهن من أزواج ولو أعجبك حسنهن إلا ما ملكت يمينك وكان الله على كل شيء رقيبا
لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِن بَعْدُ وَلَا أَن تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ رَّقِيبًا |

| Elmalılı | Bundan başka kadınlar sana helâl olmaz. Bunları başka eşlerle değiştirmek de olmaz. İsterse güzellikleri hoşuna gitsin. Ancak sahip olduğun cariyen başka. Allah her şeye gözcü bulunuyor. |
| Y. Ali | It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and Allah doth watch over all things.

[33:53] | yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû lâ tedḫulû büyûte-nnebiyyi illâ ey yü'ẕene leküm ilâ ṭa`âmin gayra nâżirîne inâhü velâkin iẕâ dü`îtüm fedḫulû feiẕâ ṭa`imtüm fenteşirû velâ müste'nisîne liḥadîŝ. inne ẕâliküm kâne yü'ẕi-nnebiyye feyestaḥyî minküm. vellâhü lâ yestaḥyî mine-lḥaḳḳ. veiẕâ seeltümûhünne metâ`an fes'elûhünne miv verâi ḥicâb. ẕâliküm aṭheru liḳulûbiküm veḳulûbihinn. vemâ kâne leküm en tü'ẕû rasûle-llâhi velâ en tenkiḥû ezvâcehû mim ba`dihî ebedâ. inne ẕâliküm kâne `inde-llâhi `ażîmâ. | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تدخلوا بيوت النبي إلا أن يؤذن لكم إلى طعام غير ناظرين إناه ولكن إذا دعيتم فادخلوا فإذا طعمتم فانتشروا ولا مستأنسين لحديث إن ذلكم كان يؤذي النبي فيستحيي منكم والله لا يستحيي من الحق وإذا سألتموهن متاعا فاسألوهن من وراء حجاب ذلكم أطهر لقلوبكم وقلوبهن وما كان لكم أن تؤذوا رسول الله ولا أن تنكحوا أزواجه من بعده أبدا إن ذلكم كان عند الله عظيما
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاهُ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانتَشِرُوا وَلَا مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ فَيَسْتَحْيِي مِنكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِن وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ ذَلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَن تَنكِحُوا أَزْوَاجَهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ أَبَدًا إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ عِندَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Ey iman edenler! Peygamberin evlerine vaktine bakmaksızın ve yemeğe izin verilmedikçe girmeyin. Fakat çağırıldığınız vakit girin. Yemeği yediğinizde de hemen dağılın. Sohbet etmek için de izinsiz girmeyin. Çünkü bu haliniz peygambere eziyet veriyor, ama o sizden utanıyor. Fakat Allah gerçeği söylemekten utanmaz. Hem O'nun hanımlarına bir ihtiyaç soracağınız vakit de perde arkasından sorun. Böyle yapmanız hem sizin kalbleriniz ve hem de onların kalbleri için daha temizdir. Hem sizin Resulullah'a eziyet etmeye hakkınız yoktur. Ondan sonra hanımlarını da ebediyyen nikâh edemezsiniz. Çünkü bu Allah katında çok büyük bir günahtır. |
| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.

[33:54] | in tübdû şey'en ev tuḫfûhü feinne-llâhe kâne bikülli şey'in `alîmâ. | إن تبدوا شيئا أو تخفوه فإن الله كان بكل شيء عليما
إِن تُبْدُوا شَيْئًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Siz bir şeyi açıklasanız da gizleseniz de şüphe yok ki Allah her şeyi bilmektedir. |
| Y. Ali | Whether ye reveal anything or conceal it, verily Allah has full knowledge of all things.

لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِنَّ فِي آبَائِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَائِهِنَّ وَلَا إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ وَلَا نِسَائِهِنَّ وَلَا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ وَاتَّقِينَ اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا |

| Elmalılı | Onlar (peygamberin eşleri) için babaları, oğulları, kardeşleri, erkek kardeşlerinin oğulları, kız kardeşlerinin oğulları, kendi kadınları (kadın dostları) ve sahip oldukları köleleri hakkında bir günah yoktur. Bununla beraber (ey Peygamberin hanımları) Allah'tan korkun. Çünkü Allah her şeye şahit bulunuyor. |
| Y. Ali | There is no blame (on these ladies if they appear) before their fathers or their sons, their brothers, or their brother's sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the (slaves) whom their right hands possess. And, (ladies), fear Allah; for Allah is Witness to all things.

[33:56] | inne-llâhe vemelâiketehû yüṣallûne `ale-nnebiyy. yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû ṣallû `aleyhi vesellimû teslîmâ. | إن الله وملائكته يصلون على النبي يا أيها الذين آمنوا صلوا عليه وسلموا تسليما
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Gerçekten Allah ve melekleri Peygambere salât ederler. Ey iman edenler! siz de ona teslimiyetle salât ve selâm edin. |
| Y. Ali | Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.

[33:57] | inne-lleẕîne yü'ẕûne-llâhe verasûlehû le`anehümü-llâhü fi-ddünyâ vel'âḫirati vee`adde lehüm `aẕâbem mühînâ. | إن الذين يؤذون الله ورسوله لعنهم الله في الدنيا والآخرة وأعد لهم عذابا مهينا
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا |

| Elmalılı | Şüphesiz ki Allah'a ve Resulü'ne eziyet verenlere Allah hem dünyada, hem ahirette lânet etmiştir. Onlara aşağılayıcı bir azab hazırlamıştır. |
| Y. Ali | Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment.

[33:58] | velleẕîne yü'ẕûne-lmü'minîne velmü'minâti bigayri me-ktesebû feḳadi-ḥtemelû bühtânev veiŝmem mübînâ. | والذين يؤذون المؤمنين والمؤمنات بغير ما اكتسبوا فقد احتملوا بهتانا وإثما مبينا
وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا اكْتَسَبُوا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلُوا بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُّبِينًا |

| Elmalılı | Mümin erkeklere ve mümin kadınlara yapmadıkları bir şeyden dolayı eziyet edenler de bir iftira ve açık bir günah yüklenmişlerdir. |
| Y. Ali | And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear (on themselves) a calumny and a glaring sin.

[33:59] | yâ eyyühe-nnebiyyü ḳul liezvâcike vebenâtike venisâi-lmü'minîne yüdnîne `aleyhinne min celâbîbihinn. ẕâlike ednâ ey yü`rafne felâ yü'ẕeyn. vekâne-llâhü gafûrar raḥîmâ. | يا أيها النبي قل لأزواجك وبناتك ونساء المؤمنين يدنين عليهن من جلابيبهن ذلك أدنى أن يعرفن فلا يؤذين وكان الله غفورا رحيما
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا |

| Elmalılı | Ey peygamber! Hanımlarına, kızlarına ve müminlerin kadınlarına hep söyle de cilbablarından (dış elbiselerinden) üzerlerini sımsıkı örtsünler. Bu onların tanınmalarına, tanınıp da eziyet edilmemelerine en elverişli olandır. Bununla beraber Allah çok bağışlayıcıdır, çok merhamet edicidir. |
| Y. Ali | O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[33:60] | leil lem yentehi-lmünâfiḳûne velleẕîne fî ḳulûbihim meraḍuv velmürcifûne fi-lmedîneti lenugriyenneke bihim ŝümme lâ yücâvirûneke fîhâ illâ ḳalîlâ. | لئن لم ينته المنافقون والذين في قلوبهم مرض والمرجفون في المدينة لنغرينك بهم ثم لا يجاورونك فيها إلا قليلا
لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْمُرْجِفُونَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا |

| Elmalılı | Andolsun ki, eğer münafıklar ve kalblerinde bir hastalık olanlar ve Medine'de dedikodu yapanlar, bu yaptıklarından vaz geçmezlerse, mutlaka seni onlara musallat ederiz. Sonra seninle orada az bir zamandan fazla komşu kalamazlar. |
| Y. Ali | Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time:
