[63:1] | iẕâ câeke-lmünâfiḳûne ḳâlû neşhedü inneke lerasûlü-llâh. vellâhü ya`lemü inneke lerasûlüh. vellâhü yeşhedü inne-lmünâfiḳîne lekâẕibûn. |  إذا جاءك المنافقون قالوا نشهد إنك لرسول الله والله يعلم إنك لرسوله والله يشهد إن المنافقين لكاذبون
إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Münafıklar sana geldikleri vakit: "Şahitlik ederiz ki sen muhakkak Allah'ın elçisisin." derler. Senin mutlaka kendisinin elçisi olduğunu Allah bilir ve Allah münafıkların yalancı olduklarına şahitlik eder. |
| Y. Ali | When the Hypocrites come to thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah." Yea, Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His Messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the Hypocrites are indeed liars.

[63:2] | itteḫaẕû eymânehüm cünneten feṣaddû `an sebîli-llâh. innehüm sâe mâ kânû ya`melûn. | اتخذوا أيمانهم جنة فصدوا عن سبيل الله إنهم ساء ما كانوا يعملون
اتَّخَذُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Yeminlerini kalkan yapıp (insanları) Allah'ın yolundan çevirdiler. Onların yaptıkları ne kötüdür! |
| Y. Ali | They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds.

[63:3] | ẕâlike biennehüm âmenû ŝümme keferû feṭubi`a `alâ ḳulûbihim fehüm lâ yefḳahûn. | ذلك بأنهم آمنوا ثم كفروا فطبع على قلوبهم فهم لا يفقهون
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَطُبِعَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bunun sebebi şudur: Onlar inandılar, sonra inkar ettiler, bu yüzden kalblerinin üzeri mühürlendi. Artık onlar anlamazlar. |
| Y. Ali | That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not.

[63:4] | veiẕâ raeytehüm tü`cibüke ecsâmühüm. veiy yeḳûlû tesma` liḳavlihim. keennehüm ḫuşübüm müsennedeh. yaḥsebûne külle ṣayḥatin `aleyhim. hümü-l`adüvvu faḥẕerhüm. ḳâtelehümü-llâh. ennâ yü'fekûn. | وإذا رأيتهم تعجبك أجسامهم وإن يقولوا تسمع لقولهم كأنهم خشب مسندة يحسبون كل صيحة عليهم هم العدو فاحذرهم قاتلهم الله أنى يؤفكون
وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن يَقُولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Onları gördüğün zaman kalıpları hoşuna gider, konuşurlarsa sözlerini dinlersin. Onlar sanki dayanmış keresteler gibidirler. Her gürültüyü kendi aleyhlerine sanırlar. Onlar düşmandır, onlardan sakın. Allah onları kahretsin! Nasıl olup da döndürülüyorlar? |
| Y. Ali | When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the Truth)!

[63:5] | veiẕâ ḳîle lehüm te`âlev yestagfir leküm rasûlü-llâhi levvev ruûsehüm veraeytehüm yeṣuddûne vehüm müstekbirûn. | وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا يستغفر لكم رسول الله لووا رءوسهم ورأيتهم يصدون وهم مستكبرون
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُؤُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Onlara: "Gelin, Allah'ın Resulü sizin için mağfiret dilesin." denildiği zaman başlarını çevirirler ve onların, büyüklük taslayarak yüz çevirdiklerini görürsün. |
| Y. Ali | And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance.

| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| تعالوا - "Come,| يستغفر - will ask forgiveness| لكم - for you| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah."| لووا - They turn aside| رءوسهم - their heads| ورأيتهم - and you see them| يصدون - turning away| وهم - while they| مستكبرون - (are) arrogant.| |

[63:6] | sevâün `aleyhim estagferte lehüm em lem testagfir lehüm. ley yagfira-llâhü lehüm. inne-llâhe lâ yehdi-lḳavme-lfâsiḳîn. | سواء عليهم أستغفرت لهم أم لم تستغفر لهم لن يغفر الله لهم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين
سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Onlara mağfiret dilesen de, dilemesen de onlar için birdir. Allah onları bağışlamayacaktır. Çünkü Allah, yoldan çıkmış bir toplumu yola iletmez. |
| Y. Ali | It is equal to them whether thou pray for their forgiveness or not. Allah will not forgive them. Truly Allah guides not rebellious transgressors.

[63:7] | hümü-lleẕîne yeḳûlûne lâ tünfiḳû `alâ men `inde rasûli-llâhi ḥattâ yenfeḍḍû. velillâhi ḫazâinü-ssemâvâti vel'arḍi velâkinne-lmünâfiḳîne lâ yefḳahûn. | هم الذين يقولون لا تنفقوا على من عند رسول الله حتى ينفضوا ولله خزائن السماوات والأرض ولكن المنافقين لا يفقهون
هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا عَلَى مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَنفَضُّوا وَلِلَّهِ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Onlar öyle kimselerdir ki: "Allah'ın elçisinin yanında bulunanları beslemeyin ki dağılıp gitsinler." diyorlar. Oysa göklerin ve yerin hazineleri Allah'ındır, fakat münafıklar anlamazlar. |
| Y. Ali | They are the ones who say, "Spend nothing on those who are with Allah's Messenger, to the end that they may disperse (and quit Medina)." But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the Hypocrites understand not.

[63:8] | yeḳûlûne leir raca`nâ ile-lmedîneti leyuḫricenne-l'e`azzü minhe-l'eẕell. velillâhi-l`izzetü velirasûlihî velilmü'minîne velâkinne-lmünâfiḳîne lâ ya`lemûn. | يقولون لئن رجعنا إلى المدينة ليخرجن الأعز منها الأذل ولله العزة ولرسوله وللمؤمنين ولكن المنافقين لا يعلمون
يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ الْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا الْأَذَلَّ وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Diyorlar ki: "Andolsun, eğer Medine'ye dönersek, daha üstün olan, daha alçak olanı oradan mutlaka çıkaracaktır." Üstünlük, ancak Allah'a, O'nun elçisine ve müminlere mahsustur. Fakat münafıklar bilmezler. |
| Y. Ali | They say, "If we return to Medina, surely the more honourable (element) will expel therefrom the meaner." But honour belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and to the Believers; but the Hypocrites know not.

| Words | |يقولون - They say,| لئن - "If| رجعنا - we return| إلى - to| المدينة - Al-Madinah,| ليخرجن - surely, will expel| الأعز - the more honorable| منها - from it| الأذل - the more humble."| ولله - But for Allah| العزة - (is) the honor| ولرسوله - and for His Messenger| وللمؤمنين - and for the believers,| ولكن - but| المنافقين - the hypocrites| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| |
9.
[63:9] | yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû lâ tülhiküm emvâlüküm velâ evlâdüküm `an ẕikri-llâh. vemey yef`al ẕâlike feülâike hümü-lḫâsirûn. | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تلهكم أموالكم ولا أولادكم عن ذكر الله ومن يفعل ذلك فأولئك هم الخاسرون
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Ey İnananlar! Mallarınız ve çocuklarınız sizi Allah'ı anmaktan alıkoymasın. Kim bunu yaparsa işte onlar ziyana uğrayanlardır. |
| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own.

10.
[63:10] | veenfiḳû mimmâ razaḳnâküm min ḳabli ey ye'tiye eḥadekümü-lmevtü feyeḳûle rabbi levlâ eḫḫartenî ilâ ecelin ḳarîbin feeṣṣaddeḳa veeküm mine-ṣṣâliḥîn. | وأنفقوا من ما رزقناكم من قبل أن يأتي أحدكم الموت فيقول رب لولا أخرتني إلى أجل قريب فأصدق وأكن من الصالحين
وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Birinize ölüm gelip de: "Rabbim, beni yakın bir süreye kadar erteleseydin de sadaka verip iyilerden olsaydım!" demesinden önce, size verdiğimiz rızıktan (Allah) için harcayın. |
| Y. Ali | and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".

11.
[63:11] | veley yü'eḫḫira-llâhü nefsen iẕâ câe ecelühâ. vellâhü ḫabîrum bimâ ta`melûn. | ولن يؤخر الله نفسا إذا جاء أجلها والله خبير بما تعملون
وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Allah süresi geldiği zaman hiç bir canı ertelemez. Allah yaptıklarınızdan haberdardır. |
| Y. Ali | But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.

| Words | |ولن - But never| يؤخر - will (be) delayed| الله - (by) Allah| نفسا - a soul| إذا - when| جاء - has come| أجلها - its term.| والله - And Allah| خبير - (is) All-Aware| بما - of what| تعملون - you do.| |
