| Yusuf Ali | Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. | ||||||

| 4. [93:4] | velel'âḫiratü ḫayrul leke mine-l'ûlâ. | وللآخرة خير لك من الأولى وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَى | |||||
| Elmalılı H. Yazır | Ahiret senin için dünyadan iyi olacaktır. | ||||||
| Yusuf Ali | And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. | ||||||
| Words | |وللآخرة - And surely the Hereafter| خير - (is) better| لك - for you| من - than| الأولى - the first.| | ||||||
| 5. [93:5] | velesevfe yü`ṭîke rabbüke feterḍâ. | ولسوف يعطيك ربك فترضى وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى | |||||
| Elmalılı H. Yazır | Rabbın sana verecek ve sen hoşnut olacaksın. | ||||||
| Yusuf Ali | And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. | ||||||
| Words | |ولسوف - And soon| يعطيك - will give you| ربك - your Lord| فترضى - then you will be satisfied.| | ||||||
| 6. [93:6] | elem yecidke yetîmen feâvâ. | ألم يجدك يتيما فآوى أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَى | |||||

| Yusuf Ali | Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? | ||||||
| Words | |ألم - Did not| يجدك - He find you| يتيما - an orphan| فآوى - and give shelter?| | ||||||
| 7. [93:7] | vevecedeke ḍâllen fehedâ. | ووجدك ضالا فهدى وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَى | |||||

| Yusuf Ali | And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. | ||||||
| Words | |ووجدك - And He found you| ضالا - lost,| فهدى - so He guided,| | ||||||
| 8. [93:8] | vevecedeke `âilen feagnâ. | ووجدك عائلا فأغنى وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَى | |||||
| Elmalılı H. Yazır | Seni yoksul bulup zengin etmedi mi? | ||||||
| Yusuf Ali | And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. | ||||||
| Words | |ووجدك - And He found you| عائلا - in need,| فأغنى - so He made self-sufficient.| | ||||||
| 9. [93:9] | feemme-lyetîme felâ taḳher. | فأما اليتيم فلا تقهر فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ | |||||

| Yusuf Ali | Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, | ||||||

| 10. [93:10] | veemme-ssâile felâ tenher. | وأما السائل فلا تنهر وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ | |||||

| Yusuf Ali | Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); | ||||||

| 11. [93:11] | veemmâ bini`meti rabbike feḥaddiŝ. | وأما بنعمة ربك فحدث وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ | |||||

| Yusuf Ali | But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! | ||||||
