[30:31] | münîbîne ileyhi vetteḳûhü veeḳîmu-ṣṣalâte velâ tekûnû mine-lmüşrikîn. |  منيبين إليه واتقوه وأقيموا الصلاة ولا تكونوا من المشركين
مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Başkasından geçerek hep O'na gönül verin ve O'ndan sakının. Namaza devam edin ve müşrilerden olmayın. |
| Y. Ali | Turn ye back in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah,-

[30:32] | mine-lleẕîne ferraḳû dînehüm vekânû şiye`â. küllü ḥizbim bimâ ledeyhim feriḥûn. | من الذين فرقوا دينهم وكانوا شيعا كل حزب بما لديهم فرحون
مِنَ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ |

| Elmalılı | O müşriklerden (olmayın ki) onlar, dinlerini ayırıp öbek öbek olmuşlardır. Her grup kendilerindekine güvenmektedir. |
| Y. Ali | Those who split up their Religion, and become (mere) Sects,- each party rejoicing in that which is with itself!

[30:33] | veiẕâ messe-nnâse ḍurrun de`av rabbehüm münîbîne ileyhi ŝümme iẕâ eẕâḳahüm minhü raḥmeten iẕâ ferîḳum minhüm birabbihim yüşrikûn. | وإذا مس الناس ضر دعوا ربهم منيبين إليه ثم إذا أذاقهم منه رحمة إذا فريق منهم بربهم يشركون
وَإِذَا مَسَّ النَّاسَ ضُرٌّ دَعَوْا رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَذَاقَهُم مِّنْهُ رَحْمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bununla beraber insanlara bir keder dokunduğu zaman her şeyden geçerek Rablerine yalvarır, dua ederler; sonra tarafından bir rahmet tattırıverdiği zaman da bakarsın onlardan bir kısmı tutar, O Rablerine ortak koşarlar. |
| Y. Ali | When trouble touches men, they cry to their Lord, turning back to Him in repentance: but when He gives them a taste of Mercy as from Himself, behold, some of them pay part-worship to other god's besides their Lord,-

[30:34] | liyekfürû bimâ âteynâhüm. fetemette`û. fesevfe ta`lemûn. | ليكفروا بما آتيناهم فتمتعوا فسوف تعلمون
لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ فَتَمَتَّعُوا فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bunu da kendilerine verdiğimiz nimetlere nankörlük etmek için yaparlar. Haydi geçinedurun bakalım, yakında bileceksiniz. |
| Y. Ali | (As if) to show their ingratitude for the (favours) We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy (your brief day); but soon will ye know (your folly).

[30:35] | em enzelnâ `aleyhim sülṭânen fehüve yetekellemü bimâ kânû bihî yüşrikûn. | أم أنزلنا عليهم سلطانا فهو يتكلم بما كانوا به يشركون
أَمْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُوا بِهِ يُشْرِكُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Yoksa biz onlara bir delil indirmişiz de O'na ortak koşmalarını o mu söylüyor? |
| Y. Ali | Or have We sent down authority to them, which points out to them the things to which they pay part-worship?

[30:36] | veiẕâ eẕaḳne-nnâse raḥmeten feriḥû bihâ. vein tüṣibhüm seyyietüm bimâ ḳaddemet eydîhim iẕâ hüm yaḳneṭûn. | وإذا أذقنا الناس رحمة فرحوا بها وإن تصبهم سيئة بما قدمت أيديهم إذا هم يقنطون
وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bir de biz insanlara bir rahmet tattırdığımız zaman ona güveniyorlar da; ellerinin önceden yaptığı şeyler sebebiyle başlarına bir fenalık gelirse, hemen her ümidi kesiveriyorlar. |
| Y. Ali | When We give men a taste of Mercy, they exult thereat: and when some evil afflicts them because of what their (own) hands have sent forth, behold, they are in despair!

[30:37] | evelem yerav enne-llâhe yebsüṭu-rrizḳa limey yeşâü veyaḳdir. inne fî ẕâlike leâyâtil liḳavmiy yü'minûn. | أولم يروا أن الله يبسط الرزق لمن يشاء ويقدر إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يؤمنون
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Onlar görmediler mi ki, Allah dilediği kimseye rızkı serer ve daraltır. Şüphesiz ki bunda iman edecek bir kavim için ibretler vardır. |
| Y. Ali | See they not that Allah enlarges the provision and restricts it, to whomsoever He pleases? Verily in that are Signs for those who believe.

[30:38] | feâti ẕe-lḳurbâ ḥaḳḳahû velmiskîne vebne-ssebîl. ẕâlike ḫayrul lilleẕîne yürîdûne veche-llâh. veülâike hümü-lmüfliḥûn. | فآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ذلك خير للذين يريدون وجه الله وأولئك هم المفلحون
فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ |

| Elmalılı | O halde akrabaya da hakkını ver, yoksula da, yolcuya da... Bu, Allah'ın rızasını dileyenler için daha hayırlıdır. Kurtuluşa erecek olanlar da işte onlardır. |
| Y. Ali | So give what is due to kindred, the needy, and the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek the Countenance, of Allah, and it is they who will prosper.

[30:39] | vemâ âteytüm mir ribel liyerbüve fî emvâli-nnâsi felâ yerbû `inde-llâh. vemâ âteytüm min zekâtin türîdûne veche-llâhi feülâike hümü-lmuḍ`ifûn. | وما آتيتم من ربا ليربو في أموال الناس فلا يربو عند الله وما آتيتم من زكاة تريدون وجه الله فأولئك هم المضعفون
وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّيَرْبُوَاْ فِي أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُوا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ |

| Elmalılı | İnsanların malları içinde artsın diye verdiğiniz faiz, Allah yanında artmaz. Allah'ın rızasını dileyerek verdiğiniz zekata gelince, işte onlar, malları kat kat artmış olanlardır. |
| Y. Ali | That which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied.

[30:40] | allâhü-lleẕî ḫaleḳaküm ŝümme razeḳaküm ŝümme yümîtüküm ŝümme yuḥyîküm. hel min şürakâiküm mey yef`alü min ẕâliküm min şey'. sübḥânehû vete`âlâ `ammâ yüşrikûn. | الله الذي خلقكم ثم رزقكم ثم يميتكم ثم يحييكم هل من شركائكم من يفعل من ذلكم من شيء سبحانه وتعالى عما يشركون
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَائِكُم مَّن يَفْعَلُ مِن ذَلِكُم مِّن شَيْءٍ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Allah, O'dur ki, sizi yarattı, sonra da size rızık verdi, sonra sizi öldürür, sonra sizi diriltir. Hiç sizin ortak koştuklarınızdan, bunlardan birini yapacak olan var mı? Allah, onların ortak koştuklarından münezzeh ve yücedir. |
| Y. Ali | It is Allah Who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) "Partners" who can do any single one of these things? Glory to Him! and high is He above the partners they attribute (to him)!

[30:41] | żahera-lfesâdü fi-lberri velbaḥri bimâ kesebet eydi-nnâsi liyüẕîḳahüm ba`ḍa-lleẕî `amilû le`allehüm yerci`ûn. | ظهر الفساد في البر والبحر بما كسبت أيدي الناس ليذيقهم بعض الذي عملوا لعلهم يرجعون
ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Yaptıklarının bir kısmını tatsınlar diye insanların kendi ellerinin kazandığı şeyler yüzünden karada ve denizde fesat ortaya çıktı. Umulur ki onlar hakka dönerler. |
| Y. Ali | Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that (Allah) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from Evil).

[30:42] | ḳul sîrû fi-l'arḍi fenżurû keyfe kâne `âḳibetü-lleẕîne min ḳabl. kâne ekŝeruhüm müşrikîn. | قل سيروا في الأرض فانظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبل كان أكثرهم مشركين
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلُ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّشْرِكِينَ |

| Elmalılı | De ki, yeryüzünde bir gezin de bakın, bundan öncekilerin sonu nasıl olmuş! Onların pek çoğu müşrik idiler. |
| Y. Ali | Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those before (you): Most of them worshipped others besides Allah."
|
| Words | |قل - Say,| سيروا - "Travel| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فانظروا - and see| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before.| قبل - (were) before.| كان - Most of them were| أكثرهم - Most of them were| مشركين - polytheists."| |

[30:43] | feeḳim vecheke lildîni-lḳayyimi min ḳabli ey ye'tiye yevmül lâ meradde lehû mine-llâhi yevmeiẕiy yeṣṣadde`ûn. | فأقم وجهك للدين القيم من قبل أن يأتي يوم لا مرد له من الله يومئذ يصدعون
فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ الْقَيِّمِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Allah'tan geri çevrilmesine hiçbir çare olmayan bir gün gelmeden önce yüzünü dosdoğru, sabit dine çevir. O gün (gelince) insanlar birbirlerinden ayrılırlar. |
| Y. Ali | But set thou thy face to the right Religion before there come from Allah the Day which there is no chance of averting: on that Day shall men be divided (in two).

[30:44] | men kefera fe`aleyhi küfruh. vemen `amile ṣâliḥan felienfüsihim yemhedûn. | من كفر فعليه كفره ومن عمل صالحا فلأنفسهم يمهدون
مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمْ يَمْهَدُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Her kim inkâr ederse, inkârı kendi aleyhinedir. Kim de salih amel işlerse, onlar kendileri için rahat bir yer hazırlamış olurlar. |
| Y. Ali | Those who reject Faith will suffer from that rejection: and those who work righteousness will spread their couch (of repose) for themselves (in heaven):

| Words | |من - Whoever| كفر - disbelieves,| فعليه - then against him| كفره - (is) his disbelief.| ومن - And whoever| عمل - does| صالحا - righteousness,| فلأنفسهم - then for themselves| يمهدون - they are preparing,| |

[30:45] | liyecziye-lleẕîne âmenû ve`amilu-ṣṣâliḥâti min faḍlih. innehû lâ yüḥibbü-lkâfirîn. | ليجزي الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات من فضله إنه لا يحب الكافرين
لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Çünkü O, iman edip salih amel işleyenlere lütfundan mükafat verecektir. Çünkü O, kâfirleri sevmez. |
| Y. Ali | That He may reward those who believe and work righteous deeds, out of his Bounty. For He loves not those who reject Faith.
|
| Words | |ليجزي - That He may reward| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| وعملوا - and do| الصالحات - righteous deeds| من - (out) of| فضله - His Bounty.| إنه - Indeed, He| لا - (does) not| يحب - like| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| |

[30:46] | vemin âyâtihî ey yürsile-rriyâḥa mübeşşirâtiv veliyüẕîḳaküm mir raḥmetihî velitecriye-lfülkü biemrihî velitebtegû min faḍlihî vele`alleküm teşkürûn. | ومن آياته أن يرسل الرياح مبشرات وليذيقكم من رحمته ولتجري الفلك بأمره ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَن يُرْسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَاتٍ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِ وَلِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Rüzgarları müjdeciler olarak göndermesi, size rahmetinden tattırması, emriyle gemilerin akıp gitmesi ve lütfundan rızık isteyip kazanmanız O'nun âyetlerindendir. Hem gerek ki şükredesiniz. |
| Y. Ali | Among His Signs is this, that He sends the Winds, as heralds of Glad Tidings, giving you a taste of His (Grace and) Mercy,- that the ships may sail (majestically) by His Command and that ye may seek of His Bounty: in order that ye may be grateful.

[30:47] | veleḳad erselnâ min ḳablike rusülen ilâ ḳavmihim fecâûhüm bilbeyyinâti fenteḳamnâ mine-lleẕîne ecramû. vekâne ḥaḳḳan `aleynâ naṣru-lmü'minîn. | ولقد أرسلنا من قبلك رسلا إلى قومهم فجاءوهم بالبينات فانتقمنا من الذين أجرموا وكان حقا علينا نصر المؤمنين
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاؤُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Andolsun ki biz, senden önce birçok peygamberleri kavimlerine gönderdik de, onlara apaçık delillerle vardılar. Onun üzerine günah işleyenlerden intikam aldık. Müminlere yardım ise, bizim nezdimizde bir hak oldu. |
| Y. Ali | We did indeed send, before thee, messengers to their (respective) peoples, and they came to them with Clear Signs: then, to those who transgressed, We meted out Retribution: and it was due from Us to aid those who believed.

| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أرسلنا - We sent| من - before you| قبلك - before you| رسلا - Messengers| إلى - to| قومهم - their people,| فجاءوهم - and they came to them| بالبينات - with clear proofs;| فانتقمنا - then We took retribution| من - from| الذين - those who| أجرموا - committed crimes.| وكان - And it was| حقا - incumbent| علينا - upon Us| نصر - (to) help| المؤمنين - the believers.| |

[30:48] | allâhü-lleẕî yürsilü-rriyâḥa fetüŝîru seḥâben feyebsüṭuhû fi-ssemâi keyfe yeşâü veyec`alühû kisefen fetere-lvedḳa yaḫrucü min ḫilâlih. feiẕâ eṣâbe bihî mey yeşâü min `ibâdihî iẕâ hüm yestebşirûn. | الله الذي يرسل الرياح فتثير سحابا فيبسطه في السماء كيف يشاء ويجعله كسفا فترى الودق يخرج من خلاله فإذا أصاب به من يشاء من عباده إذا هم يستبشرون
اللَّهُ الَّذِي يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَيَبْسُطُهُ فِي السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ وَيَجْعَلُهُ كِسَفًا فَتَرَى الْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَالِهِ فَإِذَا أَصَابَ بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Allah O'dur ki, rüzgarları gönderir de bir bulut savururlar. Derken onu gökyüzünde nasıl dilerse öyle serer, parça parça da eder. Derken yağmuru görürsün, aralarından çıkar. Derken onu kullarından kimlere diliyorsa döküverdi mi derhal yüzleri güler. |

Ali | It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!-

19.
[30:49] | vein kânû min ḳabli ey yünezzele `aleyhim min ḳablihî lemüblisîn. | وإن كانوا من قبل أن ينزل عليهم من قبله لمبلسين
وَإِن كَانُوا مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَمُبْلِسِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Halbuki onlar, daha önce üzerlerine yağmur indirilmeden evvel ümidi kesmişlerdi. |
| Y. Ali | Even though, before they received (the rain) - just before this - they were dumb with despair!

| Words | |وإن - And certainly| كانوا - they were,| من - before| قبل - before| أن - [that]| ينزل - it was sent down| عليهم - upon them,| من - [before it],| قبله - [before it],| لمبلسين - surely in despair.| |
20.
[30:50] | fenżur ilâ âŝeri raḥmeti-llâhi keyfe yuḥyi-l'arḍa ba`de mevtihâ. inne ẕâlike lemuḥyi-lmevtâ. vehüve `alâ külli şey'in ḳadîr. | فانظر إلى آثار رحمت الله كيف يحيي الأرض بعد موتها إن ذلك لمحيي الموتى وهو على كل شيء قدير
فَانظُرْ إِلَى آثَارِ رَحْمَتِ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |

| Elmalılı | Şimdi bak Allah'ın rahmetinin eserlerine! yeryüzünü ölümünden sonra nasıl diriltiyor? Şüphe yok ki O, mutlaka ölüleri diriltir. O her şeye kâdirdir. |
| Y. Ali | Then contemplate (O man!) the memorials of Allah's Mercy!- how He gives life to the earth after its death: verily the same will give life to the men who are dead: for He has power over all things.

21.
[30:51] | velein erselnâ rîḥan feraevhü muṣferral leżallû mim ba`dihî yekfürûn. | ولئن أرسلنا ريحا فرأوه مصفرا لظلوا من بعده يكفرون
وَلَئِنْ أَرْسَلْنَا رِيحًا فَرَأَوْهُ مُصْفَرًّا لَّظَلُّوا مِن بَعْدِهِ يَكْفُرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Andolsun ki biz, bir rüzgâr göndersek de onu (rahmetin eseri olan ekini) sararmış görseler, mutlaka onun arkasından nankörlüğe başlarlar. |
| Y. Ali | And if We (but) send a Wind from which they see (their tilth) turn yellow,- behold, they become, thereafter, Ungrateful (Unbelievers)!

| Words | |ولئن - But if| أرسلنا - We sent| ريحا - a wind| فرأوه - and they see it| مصفرا - turn yellow,| لظلوا - certainly they continue| من - after it| بعده - after it| يكفرون - (in) disbelief.| |
22.
[30:52] | feinneke lâ tüsmi`u-lmevtâ velâ tüsmi`u-ṣṣumme-ddü`âe iẕâ vellev müdbirîn. | فإنك لا تسمع الموتى ولا تسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ولوا مدبرين
فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Çünkü sen ölülere işittiremezsin. O daveti, arkalarını dönmüş giderlerken sağırlara da duyuramazsın. |
| Y. Ali | So verily thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs and turn away.

23.
[30:53] | vemâ ente bihâdi-l`umyi `an ḍalâletihim. in tüsmi`u illâ mey yü'minü biâyâtinâ fehüm müslimûn. | وما أنت بهاد العمي عن ضلالتهم إن تسمع إلا من يؤمن بآياتنا فهم مسلمون
وَمَا أَنتَ بِهَادِي الْعُمْيِ عَن ضَلَالَتِهِمْ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Körleri de sapıklıklarından hidayete getiremezsin. Sen ancak âyetlerimizi iman edeceklere duyurursun da onlar müslüman olur, selâmeti bulurlar. |
| Y. Ali | Nor canst thou lead back the blind from their straying: only those wilt thou make to hear, who believe in Our signs and submit (their wills in Islam).

| Words | |وما - And not| أنت - you| بهاد - can guide| العمي - the blind| عن - from| ضلالتهم - their error.| إن - Not| تسمع - you can make hear| إلا - except| من - (those) who| يؤمن - believe| بآياتنا - in Our Verses| فهم - so they| مسلمون - surrender.| |
24.
[30:54] | allâhü-lleẕî ḫaleḳaküm min ḍa`fin ŝümme ce`ale mim ba`di ḍa`fin ḳuvveten ŝümme ce`ale mim ba`di ḳuvvetin ḍa`fev veşeybeh. yaḫlüḳu mâ yeşâ'. vehüve-l`alîmü-lḳadîr. | الله الذي خلقكم من ضعف ثم جعل من بعد ضعف قوة ثم جعل من بعد قوة ضعفا وشيبة يخلق ما يشاء وهو العليم القدير
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفًا وَشَيْبَةً يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ |

| Elmalılı | Allah O'dur ki, sizi güçsüz olarak yaratır, sonra güçsüzlüğün arkasından kuvvet verir. Sonra kuvvetin arkasından yine güçsüzlüğe ve ihtiyarlığa getirir. O dilediğini yaratır. Ve O, her şeyi bilir, her şeye gücü yeter. |
| Y. Ali | It is Allah Who created you in a state of (helpless) weakness, then gave (you) strength after weakness, then, after strength, gave (you weakness and a hoary head: He creates as He wills, and it is He Who has all knowledge and power.

[30:55] | veyevme teḳûmü-ssâ`atü yuḳsimü-lmücrimûne mâ lebiŝû gayra sâ`ah. keẕâlike kânû yü'fekûn. | ويوم تقوم الساعة يقسم المجرمون ما لبثوا غير ساعة كذلك كانوا يؤفكون
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ كَذَلِكَ كَانُوا يُؤْفَكُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Kıyamet kopacağı gün günahkarlar dünyada bir saatten fazla durmadıklarına yemin ederler. Onlar önceden de böyle haktan çevriliyorlardı. |
| Y. Ali | On the Day that the Hour (of Reckoning) will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to being deluded!

26.
[30:56] | veḳâle-lleẕîne ûtü-l`ilme vel'îmâne leḳad lebiŝtüm fî kitâbi-llâhi ilâ yevmi-lba`ŝ. fehâẕâ yevmü-lba`ŝi velâkinneküm küntüm lâ ta`lemûn. | وقال الذين أوتوا العلم والإيمان لقد لبثتم في كتاب الله إلى يوم البعث فهذا يوم البعث ولكنكم كنتم لا تعلمون
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَالْإِيْمَانَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْبَعْثِ فَهَذَا يَوْمُ الْبَعْثِ وَلَكِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Kendilerine ilim ve iman verilenler de şöyle diyecekler: "Andolsun ki, Allah'ın kitabında takdir edilmiş olan tekrar dirilme gününe kadar kaldınız. İşte bu, dirilme günüdür. Fakat siz bunu bilmiyordunuz. |
| Y. Ali | But those endued with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed ye did tarry, within Allah's Decree, to the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection: but ye - ye were not aware!"

| Words | |وقال - But will say| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| العلم - the knowledge| والإيمان - and the faith,| لقد - "Verily| لبثتم - you remained| في - by| كتاب - (the) Decree| الله - (of) Allah| إلى - until| يوم - (the) Day| البعث - (of) Resurrection.| فهذا - And this| يوم - (is the) Day| البعث - (of) the Resurrection| ولكنكم - but you| كنتم - were| لا - not| تعلمون - knowing.| |
27.
[30:57] | feyevmeiẕil lâ yenfe`u-lleẕîne żalemû ma`ẕiratühüm velâ hüm yüsta`tebûn. | فيومئذ لا ينفع الذين ظلموا معذرتهم ولا هم يستعتبون
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Artık o gün zulmedenlere mazeretleri fayda vermeyecektir. Onların dertlerinin çaresine de bakılmayacaktır. |
| Y. Ali | So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance).

| Words | |فيومئذ - So that Day,| لا - not| ينفع - will profit| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged| معذرتهم - their excuses| ولا - and not| هم - they| يستعتبون - will be allowed to make amends.| |
28.
[30:58] | veleḳad ḍarabnâ linnâsi fî hâẕe-lḳur'âni min külli meŝel. velein ci'tehüm biâyetil leyeḳûlenne-lleẕîne keferû in entüm illâ mübṭilûn. | ولقد ضربنا للناس في هذا القرآن من كل مثل ولئن جئتهم بآية ليقولن الذين كفروا إن أنتم إلا مبطلون
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ وَلَئِن جِئْتَهُم بِآيَةٍ لَّيَقُولَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا مُبْطِلُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Andolsun ki, biz insanlar için bu Kur'ân'da her türlü meselden örnekler getirdik. Yemin ederim ki, sen onlara başka bir âyet de getirsen o kâfirler yine: "Siz yalancılardan (uydurduğunuz sözü Allah'a nispet edenlerden) başkası değilsiniz." diyeceklerdir. |
| Y. Ali | verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities."

29.
[30:59] | keẕâlike yaṭbe`u-llâhü `alâ ḳulûbi-lleẕîne lâ ya`lemûn. | كذلك يطبع الله على قلوب الذين لا يعلمون
كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | İşte bilmeyenlerin kalblerini Allah böyle mühürler. |
| Y. Ali | Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who understand not.

30.
[30:60] | faṣbir inne va`de-llâhi ḥaḳḳuv velâ yesteḫiffenneke-lleẕîne lâ yûḳinûn. | فاصبر إن وعد الله حق ولا يستخفنك الذين لا يوقنون
فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Şimdi sen sabret. Çünkü Allah'ın vaadi mutlaka haktır. Sakın imanı sağlam olmayanlar seni hafifliğe sevketmesinler. |
| Y. Ali | So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith.
