[2:181] | femem beddelehû ba`de mâ semi`ahû feinnemâ iŝmühû `ale-lleẕîne yübeddilûneh. inne-llâhe semî`un `alîm. |  فمن بدله بعدما سمعه فإنما إثمه على الذين يبدلونه إن الله سميع عليم
فَمَن بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ |

| Elmalılı | Şimdi her kim, bunu duyduktan sonra onu değiştirirse, her halde vebali, sırf o değiştirenlerin boynunadır. Şüphe yok ki Allah, her şeyi işitir ve bilir. |
| Y. Ali | If anyone changes the bequest after hearing it, the guilt shall be on those who make the change. For Allah hears and knows (All things).

[2:182] | femen ḫâfe mim mûṣin cenefen ev iŝmen feaṣleḥa beynehüm felâ iŝme `aleyh. inne-llâhe gafûrur raḥîm. | فمن خاف من موص جنفا أو إثما فأصلح بينهم فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم
فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| Elmalılı | Her kim de vasiyet edenin, bir hata işlemesinden veya bir günaha girmesinden endişe eder de tarafların arasını düzeltirse, ona bir vebal yoktur. Şüphesiz ki, Allah çok bağışlayıcıdır, çok merhamet edicidir. |
| Y. Ali | But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

[2:183] | yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû kütibe `aleykümu-ṣṣiyâmü kemâ kütibe `ale-lleẕîne min ḳabliküm le`alleküm tetteḳûn. | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Ey iman edenler! Oruç, sizden öncekilere farz kılındığı gibi size de farz kılındı. Umulur ki korunursunuz. |
| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,-

[2:184] | eyyâmem ma`dûdât. femen kâne minküm merîḍan ev `alâ seferin fe`iddetüm min eyyâmin üḫar. ve`ale-lleẕîne yüṭîḳûnehû fidyetün ṭa`âmü miskîn. femen teṭavve`a ḫayran fehüve ḫayrul leh. veen teṣûmû ḫayrul leküm in küntüm ta`lemûn. | أياما معدودات فمن كان منكم مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر وعلى الذين يطيقونه فدية طعام مسكين فمن تطوع خيرا فهو خير له وأن تصوموا خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون
أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ وَأَن تَصُومُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | (Size farz kılınan oruç), sayılı günlerdedir. İçinizden hasta olan veya yolculukta bulunan ise, diğer günlerde, tutamadığı günler sayısınca tutar. Ona dayanıp kalacaklar üzerine de bir yoksulu doyuracak kadar fidye gerekir. Her kim de hayrına fidyeyi artırırsa, hakkında daha hayırlıdır. Bununla beraber, eğer bilirseniz, oruç tutmanız sizin için daha hayırlıdır. |
| Y. Ali | (Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.

[2:185] | şehru rameḍane-lleẕî ünzile fîhi-lḳur'ânü hüdel linnâsi vebeyyinâtim mine-lhüdâ velfürḳân. femen şehide minkümü-şşehra felyeṣumh. vemen kâne merîḍan ev `alâ seferin fe`iddetüm min eyyâmin üḫar. yürîdü-llâhü bikümü-lyüsra velâ yürîdü bikümü-l`usr. velitükmilü-l`iddete velitükebbirü-llâhe `alâ mâ hedâküm vele`alleküm teşkürûn. | شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدى للناس وبينات من الهدى والفرقان فمن شهد منكم الشهر فليصمه ومن كان مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر يريد الله بكم اليسر ولا يريد بكم العسر ولتكملوا العدة ولتكبروا الله على ما هداكم ولعلكم تشكرون
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيْ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ اللّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | O Ramazan ayı ki, insanları irşad için, hak ile batılı ayıracak olan, hidayet rehberi ve deliller halinde bulunan Kur'ân onda indirildi. Onun için sizden her kim bu aya şahit olursa onda oruç tutsun. Kim de hasta, yahut yolculukta ise tutamadığı günler sayısınca diğer günlerde kaza etsin. Allah size kolaylık diler zorluk dilemez. Sayıyı tamamlamanızı, size doğru yolu gösterdiğinden dolayı Allah'ı tekbir etmenizi ister. Umulur ki şükredersiniz. |
| Y. Ali | Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

[2:186] | veiẕâ seeleke `ibâdî `annî feinnî ḳarîb. ücîbü da`vete-ddâ`i iẕâ de`âni felyestecîbû lî velyü'minû bî le`allehüm yerşüdûn. | وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا بي لعلهم يرشدون
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Şayet kullarım, sana benden sordularsa, gerçekten ben çok yakınımdır. Bana dua edince, duacının duasını kabul ederim. O halde onlar da benim davetime koşsunlar ve bana hakkıyla iman etsinler ki, doğru yola gidebilsinler. |
| Y. Ali | When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.

[2:187] | üḥille leküm leylete-ṣṣiyâmi-rrafeŝü ilâ nisâiküm. hünne libâsül leküm veentüm libâsül lehünn. `alime-llâhü enneküm küntüm taḫtânûne enfüseküm fetâbe `aleyküm ve`afâ `anküm. fel'âne bâşirûhünne vebtegû mâ ketebe-llâhü leküm. vekülû veşrabû ḥattâ yetebeyyene lekümü-lḫayṭu-l'ebyeḍu mine-lḫayṭi-l'esvedi mine-lfecr. ŝümme etimmu-ṣṣiyâme ile-lleyl. velâ tübâşirûhünne veentüm `âkifûne fi-lmesâcid. tilke ḥudûdü-llâhi felâ taḳrabûhâ. keẕâlike yübeyyinü-llâhü âyâtihî linnâsi le`allehüm yetteḳûn. | أحل لكم ليلة الصيام الرفث إلى نسائكم هن لباس لكم وأنتم لباس لهن علم الله أنكم كنتم تختانون أنفسكم فتاب عليكم وعفا عنكم فالآن باشروهن وابتغوا ما كتب الله لكم وكلوا واشربوا حتى يتبين لكم الخيط الأبيض من الخيط الأسود من الفجر ثم أتموا الصيام إلى الليل ولا تباشروهن وأنتم عاكفون في المساجد تلك حدود الله فلا تقربوها كذلك يبين الله آياته للناس لعلهم يتقون
أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصِّيَامِ الرَّفَثُ إِلَى نِسَآئِكُمْ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ عَلِمَ اللّهُ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَفَا عَنكُمْ فَالْآنَ بَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَابْتَغُواْ مَا كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَكُلُواْ وَاشْرَبُواْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّواْ الصِّيَامَ إِلَى الَّيْلِ وَلاَ تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَقْرَبُوهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Oruç gecesi kadınlarınıza yaklaşmanız, size helâl kılındı. Onlar, sizin için bir örtü, siz de onlar için bir örtü durumundasınız. Allah, nefsinize güvenemeyeceğinizi bildiği için müracaatınızı kabul buyurdu ve sizi bağışladı. Şimdi onlara yaklaşın ve Allah'ın sizler için yazdığını isteyin. Ta fecrin beyaz ipliği siyah iplikden size seçilinceye kadar yiyin, için. Sonra da ertesi geceye kadar orucu tam tutun. Bununla beraber siz mescitlerde îtikaf halinde iken onlara yaklaşmayın. Bunlar, Allah'ınsınırlarıdır, sakın onlara yaklaşmayın. Allah, âyetlerini insanlara böyle açıklıyor ki sakınıp korunsunlar. |
| Y. Ali | Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah: Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.

[2:188] | velâ te'külû emvâleküm beyneküm bilbâṭili vetüdlû bihâ ile-lḥukkâmi lite'külû ferîḳam min emvâli-nnâsi bil'iŝmi veentüm ta`lemûn. | ولا تأكلوا أموالكم بينكم بالباطل وتدلوا بها إلى الحكام لتأكلوا فريقا من أموال الناس بالإثم وأنتم تعلمون
وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُواْ بِهَا إِلَى الْحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُواْ فَرِيقًا مِّنْ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالْإِثْمِ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bir de aranızda mallarınızı batıl sebeplerle yemeyin. İnsanların mallarından bir kısmını bile bile günah ile yemek için, o malları hakimlere rüşvet olarak vermeyin. |
| Y. Ali | And do not eat up your property among yourselves for vanities, nor use it as bait for the judges, with intent that ye may eat up wrongfully and knowingly a little of (other) people's property.

[2:189] | yes'elûneke `ani-l'ehilleh. ḳul hiye mevâḳîtü linnâsi velḥacc. veleyse-lbirru bien te'tü-lbüyûte min żuhûrihâ velâkinne-lbirra meni-tteḳâ. ve'tü-lbüyûte min ebvâbihâ. vetteḳu-llâhe le`alleküm tüfliḥûn. | يسألونك عن الأهلة قل هي مواقيت للناس والحج وليس البر بأن تأتوا البيوت من ظهورها ولكن البر من اتقى وأتوا البيوت من أبوابها واتقوا الله لعلكم تفلحون
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَهِلَّةِ قُلْ هِيَ مَوَاقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَالْحَجِّ وَلَيْسَ الْبِرُّ بِأَنْ تَأْتُواْ الْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَى وَأْتُواْ الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Sana hilâllerden soruyorlar. De ki: Onlar insanlar için de, hac için de vakit ölçüleridir. Bununla beraber iyilik, evlere arkalarından gelmeniz değildir. Fakat iyiliğe eren, kötülükten korunan kimsedir. Evlere kapılarından gelin, Allah'tan korkun ki, kurtuluşa eresiniz. |
| Y. Ali | They ask thee concerning the New Moons. Say: They are but signs to mark fixed periods of time in (the affairs of) men, and for Pilgrimage. It is no virtue if ye enter your houses from the back: It is virtue if ye fear Allah. Enter houses through the proper doors: And fear Allah: That ye may prosper.

[2:190] | veḳâtilû fî sebîli-llâhi-lleẕîne yüḳâtilûneküm velâ ta`tedû. inne-llâhe lâ yüḥibbü-lmü`tedîn. | وقاتلوا في سبيل الله الذين يقاتلونكم ولا تعتدوا إن الله لا يحب المعتدين
وَقَاتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلاَ تَعْتَدُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Size savaş açanlarla Allah yolunda çarpışın. Fakat haksız saldırıda bulunmayın. Çünkü Allah, haksız saldırıda bulunanları sevmez. |
| Y. Ali | Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.

[2:191] | vaḳtülûhüm ḥayŝü ŝeḳiftümûhüm veaḫricûhüm min ḥayŝü aḫracûküm velfitnetü eşeddü mine-lḳatl. velâ tüḳâtilûhüm `inde-lmescidi-lḥarâmi ḥattâ yüḳâtilûküm fîh. fein ḳâtelûküm faḳtülûhüm. keẕâlike cezâü-lkâfirîn. | واقتلوهم حيث ثقفتموهم وأخرجوهم من حيث أخرجوكم والفتنة أشد من القتل ولا تقاتلوهم عند المسجد الحرام حتى يقاتلوكم فيه فإن قاتلوكم فاقتلوهم كذلك جزاء الكافرين
وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ تُقَاتِلُوهُمْ عِندَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ فَإِن قَاتَلُوكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ كَذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Onları nerede yakalarsanız öldürün ve sizi çıkardıkları yerden onları çıkarın. O fitne, öldürmeden daha şiddetlidir. Yalnız Mescidi Haram yanında onlar sizinle savaşmadıkça siz de onlarla savaşmayın. Fakat sizi öldürmeye kalkışırlarsa, hemen onları öldürün. Kâfirlerin cezası böyledir. |

Ali | And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.

[2:192] | feini-ntehev feinne-llâhe gafûrur raḥîm. | فإن انتهوا فإن الله غفور رحيم
فَإِنِ انتَهَوْاْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

[2:193] | veḳâtilûhüm ḥattâ lâ tekûne fitnetüv veyekûne-ddînü lillâh. feini-ntehev felâ `udvâne illâ `ale-żżâlimîn. | وقاتلوهم حتى لا تكون فتنة ويكون الدين لله فإن انتهوا فلا عدوان إلا على الظالمين
وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ لِلّهِ فَإِنِ انتَهَواْ فَلاَ عُدْوَانَ إِلاَّ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Hem bir fitne kalmayıp, din yalnız Allah'ın oluncaya kadar onlarla çarpışın. Vazgeçerlerse, düşmanlık ancak zalimlere karşıdır. |
| Y. Ali | And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.

[2:194] | eşşehru-lḥarâmü bişşehri-lḥarâmi velḥurumâtü ḳiṣâṣ. femeni-`tedâ `aleyküm fa`tedû `aleyhi bimiŝli me-`tedâ `aleyküm. vetteḳu-llâhe va`lemû enne-llâhe me`a-lmütteḳîn. | الشهر الحرام بالشهر الحرام والحرمات قصاص فمن اعتدى عليكم فاعتدوا عليه بمثل ما اعتدى عليكم واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين
الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْحُرُمَاتُ قِصَاصٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُواْ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ |

| Y. Ali | The prohibited month for the prohibited month,- and so for all things prohibited,- there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

[2:195] | veenfiḳû fî sebîli-llâhi velâ tülḳû bieydîküm ile-ttehlükeh. veaḥsinû. inne-llâhe yüḥibbü-lmuḥsinîn. | وأنفقوا في سبيل الله ولا تلقوا بأيديكم إلى التهلكة وأحسنوا إن الله يحب المحسنين
وَأَنفِقُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلاَ تُلْقُواْ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ وَأَحْسِنُوَاْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ |

| Elmalılı | Allah yolunda mal harcayın da kendinizi ellerinizle tehlikeye bırakmayın ve güzel hareket edin. Çünkü Allah güzellik ve iyilik edenleri sever. |
| Y. Ali | And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loveth those who do good.

[2:196] | veetimmü-lḥacce vel`umrate lillâh. fein uḥṣirtüm feme-steysera mine-lhedy. velâ taḥliḳû ruûseküm ḥattâ yeblüga-lhedyü meḥilleh. femen kâne minküm merîḍan ev bihî eẕem mir ra'sihî fefidyetüm min ṣiyâmin ev ṣadeḳatin ev nüsük. feiẕâ emintüm. femen temette`a bil`umrati ile-lḥacci feme-steysera mine-lhedy. femel lem yecid feṣiyâmü ŝelâŝeti eyyâmin fi-lḥacci veseb`atin iẕâ raca`tüm. tilke `aşeratün kâmileh. ẕâlike limel lem yekün ehlühû ḥâḍiri-lmescidi-lḥarâm. vetteḳu-llâhe va`lemû enne-llâhe şedîdü-l`iḳâb. | وأتموا الحج والعمرة لله فإن أحصرتم فما استيسر من الهدي ولا تحلقوا رءوسكم حتى يبلغ الهدي محله فمن كان منكم مريضا أو به أذى من رأسه ففدية من صيام أو صدقة أو نسك فإذا أمنتم فمن تمتع بالعمرة إلى الحج فما استيسر من الهدي فمن لم يجد فصيام ثلاثة أيام في الحج وسبعة إذا رجعتم تلك عشرة كاملة ذلك لمن لم يكن أهله حاضري المسجد الحرام واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله شديد العقاب
وَأَتِمُّواْ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِلّهِ فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ وَلاَ تَحْلِقُواْ رُؤُوسَكُمْ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضاً أَوْ بِهِ أَذًى مِّن رَّأْسِهِ فَفِدْيَةٌ مِّن صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ فَإِذَا أَمِنتُمْ فَمَن تَمَتَّعَ بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي الْحَجِّ وَسَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ تِلْكَ عَشَرَةٌ كَامِلَةٌ ذَلِكَ لِمَن لَّمْ يَكُنْ أَهْلُهُ حَاضِرِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ |

| Elmalılı | Hac ve umreyi de Allah için tamam yapın. Eğer bunlardan alıkonursanız, o zaman kolayınıza gelen bir kurban gönderin. Bununla beraber bu kurban, kesileceği yere varıncaya kadar başlarınızı tıraş etmeyin. İçinizden hasta olana veya başından bir rahatsızlığı bulunana tıraş için oruç veya sadaka yahut da kurbandan ibaret bir fidye gerekir. Engellemeden kurtulduğunuz zaman da her kim hacca kadar umre ile sevab kazanmak isterse, ona da kolayına gelen bir kurban gerekir. Bunu bulamayana ise üç gün hacda, yedi de döndüğünüzde ki tam on gün oruç tutması lazım gelir. Bu hüküm, ailesi Mescidi Haram civarında oturmayanlar içindir. Allah'tan korkun ve bilin ki Allah'ın azabı gerçekten çok şiddetlidir. |
| Y. Ali | And complete the Hajj or 'umra in the service of Allah. But if ye are prevented (From completing it), send an offering for sacrifice, such as ye may find, and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches the place of sacrifice. And if any of you is ill, or has an ailment in his scalp, (Necessitating shaving), (He should) in compensation either fast, or feed the poor, or offer sacrifice; and when ye are in peaceful conditions (again), if any one wishes to continue the 'umra on to the hajj, He must make an offering, such as he can afford, but if he cannot afford it, He should fast three days during the hajj and seven days on his return, Making ten days in all. This is for those whose household is not in (the precincts of) the Sacred Mosque. And fear Allah, and know that Allah Is strict in punishment.

[2:197] | elḥaccü eşhürum ma`lûmâh. femen feraḍa fîhinne-lḥacce felâ rafeŝe velâ füsûḳa velâ cidâle fi-lḥacc. vemâ tef`alû min ḫayriy ya`lemhü-llâh. vetezevvedû feinne ḫayra-zzâdi-ttaḳvâ. vetteḳûni yâ ûli-l'elbâb. | الحج أشهر معلومات فمن فرض فيهن الحج فلا رفث ولا فسوق ولا جدال في الحج وما تفعلوا من خير يعلمه الله وتزودوا فإن خير الزاد التقوى واتقون يا أولي الألباب
الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَّعْلُومَاتٌ فَمَن فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلاَ رَفَثَ وَلاَ فُسُوقَ وَلاَ جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْلَمْهُ اللّهُ وَتَزَوَّدُواْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الزَّادِ التَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُونِ يَا أُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ |

| Elmalılı | Hac, bilinen aylardadır. Her kim o aylarda hacca başlayıp kendisine farz ederse; artık hacda kadına yaklaşmak, günah işlemek ve kavga etmek yoktur. Siz hayırdan ne işlerseniz, Allah onu bilir. Kendinize azık edinin. Şüphesiz ki azıkların en hayırlısı Allah korkusudur. Ey akıl sahipleri! Benden korkun! |
| Y. Ali | For Hajj are the months well known. If any one undertakes that duty therein, Let there be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Hajj. And whatever good ye do, (be sure) Allah knoweth it. And take a provision (With you) for the journey, but the best of provisions is right conduct. So fear Me, o ye that are wise.

[2:198] | leyse `aleyküm cünâḥun en tebtegû faḍlem mir rabbiküm. feiẕâ efaḍtüm min `arafâtin feẕkürü-llâhe `inde-lmeş`ari-lḥarâm. veẕkürûhü kemâ hedâküm. vein küntüm min ḳablihî lemine-ḍḍâllîn. | ليس عليكم جناح أن تبتغوا فضلا من ربكم فإذا أفضتم من عرفات فاذكروا الله عند المشعر الحرام واذكروه كما هداكم وإن كنتم من قبله لمن الضالين
لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَبْتَغُواْ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَإِذَا أَفَضْتُم مِّنْ عَرَفَاتٍ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ عِندَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ وَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ وَإِن كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الضَّآلِّينَ |

| Elmalılı | Rabbinizin lütfunu istemenizde size bir günah yoktur. Arafat'tan indiğiniz zaman Meş'ari Haram yanında (Müzdelife'de) Allah'ı zikredin. O'nu, size gösterdiği şekilde zikredin. Doğrusu siz, bundan önce gerçekten sapmışlardandınız. |
| Y. Ali | It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray.

[2:199] | ŝümme efîḍû min ḥayŝü efâḍa-nnâsü vestagfirü-llâh. inne-llâhe gafûrur raḥîm. | ثم أفيضوا من حيث أفاض الناس واستغفروا الله إن الله غفور رحيم
ثُمَّ أَفِيضُواْ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَغْفِرُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |

| Elmalılı | Sonra insanların akıp geldiği yerden siz de akıp gelin. Allah'tan bağışlanmanızı isteyin. Çünkü Allah çok bağışlayıcıdır, çok merhamet edicidir. |
| Y. Ali | Then pass on at a quick pace from the place whence it is usual for the multitude so to do, and ask for Allah's forgiveness. For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

[2:200] | feiẕâ ḳaḍaytüm menâsikeküm feẕkürü-llâhe keẕikriküm âbâeküm ev eşedde ẕikrâ. femine-nnâsi mey yeḳûlü rabbenâ âtinâ fi-ddünyâ vemâ lehû fi-l'âḫirati min ḫalâḳ. | فإذا قضيتم مناسككم فاذكروا الله كذكركم آباءكم أو أشد ذكرا فمن الناس من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا وما له في الآخرة من خلاق
فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ |

| Elmalılı | Nihayet hac ibadetlerinizi bitirdiğiniz zaman, önceleri babalarınızı andığınız gibi, hatta daha kuvvetli bir anışla Allah'ı anın. İnsanlardan kimisi: "Ey Rabbimiz! Bize dünyada ver!" der. Onun için ahirette hiçbir kısmet yoktur. |
| Y. Ali | So when ye have accomplished your holy rites, celebrate the praises of Allah, as ye used to celebrate the praises of your fathers,- yea, with far more Heart and soul. There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" but they will have no portion in the Hereafter.

[2:201] | veminhüm mey yeḳûlü rabbenâ âtinâ fi-ddünyâ ḥasenetev vefi-l'âḫirati ḥasenetev veḳinâ `aẕâbe-nnâr. | ومنهم من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار
وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ |

| Elmalılı | Yine onlardan: "Ey Rabbimiz! Bize dünyada bir güzellik ve ahirette de bir güzellik ver ve bizi ateş azabından koru!" diyenler vardır. |
| Y. Ali | And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!"

[2:202] | ülâike lehüm neṣîbüm mimmâ kesebû. vellâhü serî`u-lḥisâb. | أولئك لهم نصيب مما كسبوا والله سريع الحساب
أُولَـئِكَ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْ وَاللّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ |

| Elmalılı | İşte onlar için, kazandıklarından bir nasib vardır. Allah, hesabı çok çabuk görür. |
| Y. Ali | To these will be allotted what they have earned; and Allah is quick in account.

[2:203] | veẕkürü-llâhe fî eyyâmim ma`dûdât. femen te`accele fî yevmeyni felâ iŝme `aleyh. vemen teeḫḫara felâ iŝme `aleyhi limeni-tteḳâ. vetteḳu-llâhe va`lemû enneküm ileyhi tuḥşerûn. | واذكروا الله في أيام معدودات فمن تعجل في يومين فلا إثم عليه ومن تأخر فلا إثم عليه لمن اتقى واتقوا الله واعلموا أنكم إليه تحشرون
وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ |

| Elmalılı | Bir de sayılı günlerde Allah'ı zikredin (tekbir alın). Bunlardan kim iki gün içinde (Mina'dan) dönmek için acele ederse ona günah yoktur. Kim geri kalırsa ona da günah yoktur. Ama bu, takva sahipleri içindir. Allah'tan korkun ve bilin ki, siz ancak O'nun huzuruna varıp toplanacaksınız. |
| Y. Ali | Celebrate the praises of Allah during the Appointed Days. But if any one hastens to leave in two days, there is no blame on him, and if any one stays on, there is no blame on him, if his aim is to do right. Then fear Allah, and know that ye will surely be gathered unto Him.

[2:204] | vemine-nnâsi mey yü`cibüke ḳavlühû fi-lḥayâti-ddünyâ veyüşhidü-llâhe `alâ mâ fî ḳalbihî vehüve eleddü-lḫiṣâm. | ومن الناس من يعجبك قوله في الحياة الدنيا ويشهد الله على ما في قلبه وهو ألد الخصام
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُعْجِبُكَ قَوْلُهُ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيُشْهِدُ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا فِي قَلْبِهِ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ الْخِصَامِ |

| Elmalılı | İnsanlardan kimi de vardır ki, dünya hayatı hakkındaki sözleri senin hoşuna gider ve o kalbindekine Allah'ı şahit tutar. Halbuki O, İslâm düşmanlarının en yamanıdır. |
| Y. Ali | There is the type of man whose speech about this world's life May dazzle thee, and he calls Allah to witness about what is in his heart; yet is he the most contentious of enemies.

[2:205] | veiẕâ tevellâ se`â fi-l'arḍi liyüfside fîhâ veyühlike-lḥarŝe vennesl. vellâhü lâ yüḥibbü-lfesâd. | وإذا تولى سعى في الأرض ليفسد فيها ويهلك الحرث والنسل والله لا يحب الفساد
وَإِذَا تَوَلَّى سَعَى فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ الْحَرْثَ وَالنَّسْلَ وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الفَسَادَ |

| Elmalılı | İş başına geçti mi yeryüzünde bozgunculuk çıkarmak, ekini ve nesli helak etmek için koşar. Allah ise bozgunculuğu sevmez. |
| Y. Ali | When he turns his back, His aim everywhere is to spread mischief through the earth and destroy crops and cattle. But Allah loveth not mischief.

[2:206] | veiẕâ ḳîle lehü-tteḳi-llâhe eḫaẕethü-l`izzetü bil'iŝmi feḥasbühû cehennem. velebi'se-lmihâd. | وإذا قيل له اتق الله أخذته العزة بالإثم فحسبه جهنم ولبئس المهاد
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ اتَّقِ اللّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ الْعِزَّةُ بِالْإِثْمِ فَحَسْبُهُ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ |

| Elmalılı | Ona: "Allah'tan kork!" dendiği zaman da kendisini onuru (gururu) günah işlemeye sevkeder. Cehennem de onun hakkından gelir. O ne kötü bir yataktır! |
| Y. Ali | When it is said to him, "Fear Allah", He is led by arrogance to (more) crime. Enough for him is Hell;-An evil bed indeed (To lie on)!

[2:207] | vemine-nnâsi mey yeşrî nefsehü-btigâe merḍâti-llâh. vellâhü raûfüm bil`ibâd. | ومن الناس من يشري نفسه ابتغاء مرضات الله والله رءوف بالعباد
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِي نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ رَؤُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ |

| Elmalılı | Yine insanlardan kimi de vardır ki, Allah'ın rızasına ermek için kendini feda eder. Allah ise kullarına çok merhametlidir. |
| Y. Ali | And there is the type of man who gives his life to earn the pleasure of Allah: And Allah is full of kindness to (His) devotees.

[2:208] | yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenü-dḫulû fi-ssilmi kâffeten. velâ tettebi`û ḫuṭuvâti-şşeyṭân. innehû leküm `adüvvüm mübîn. | يا أيها الذين آمنوا ادخلوا في السلم كافة ولا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبين
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ادْخُلُواْ فِي السِّلْمِ كَآفَّةً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ |

| Elmalılı | Ey iman edenler! Hepiniz barış ve selamete girin de şeytanın adımlarına uymayın. Çünkü o sizin aranızı açan belli bir düşmandır. |
| Y. Ali | O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy.

[2:209] | fein zeleltüm mim ba`di mâ câetkümü-lbeyyinâtü fa`lemû enne-llâhe `azîzün ḥakîm. | فإن زللتم من بعد ما جاءتكم البينات فاعلموا أن الله عزيز حكيم
فَإِن زَلَلْتُمْ مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْكُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ |

| Elmalılı | Size bunca deliller geldikten sonra yine kayarsanız, iyi bilin ki, Allah çok güçlüdür, hüküm ve hikmet sahibidir. |
| Y. Ali | If ye backslide after the clear (Signs) have come to you, then know that Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

[2:210] | hel yenżurûne illâ ey ye'tiyehümü-llâhü fî żulelim mine-lgamâmi velmelâiketü veḳuḍiye-l'emr. veile-llâhi türce`u-l'ümûr. | هل ينظرون إلا أن يأتيهم الله في ظلل من الغمام والملائكة وقضي الأمر وإلى الله ترجع الأمور
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمُ اللّهُ فِي ظُلَلٍ مِّنَ الْغَمَامِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةُ وَقُضِيَ الأَمْرُ وَإِلَى اللّهِ تُرْجَعُ الأمُورُ |

| Elmalılı | Onlar sadece gözetiyorlar ki, Allah, buluttan gölgelikler içinde meleklerle birlikte geliversin de iş bitiriliversin. Halbuki bütün işler Allah'a döndürülüp götürülür. |
| Y. Ali | Will they wait until Allah comes to them in canopies of clouds, with angels (in His train) and the question is (thus) settled? but to Allah do all questions go back (for decision).
